Commercial FAQ

Commercial buildings experience high traffic, frequent public interaction, and shared spaces that can easily become hotspots for airborne and surface-borne pathogens. UV-C disinfection provides continuous, chemical-free protection that reduces the spread of viruses, bacteria, and mold in lobbies, conference rooms, work areas, restrooms, and other common spaces.

AeroClenz systems, including the AdaptUV™ System, use a dual approach: continuous upper room air disinfection and targeted air and surface disinfection. This allows pathogens to be neutralized in real time as air naturally circulates, while high-touch surfaces are disinfected through targeted UV-C LED coverage—helping maintain cleaner air and surfaces without interrupting daily operations.

Yes. AeroClenz systems are engineered with advanced safety features that make them safe for continuous use in occupied spaces such as offices, meeting rooms, and public areas. Proprietary milimeter wave radar and passive infrared sensors detect human presence and shut it off entirely when someone is nearby. This prevents direct exposure while still allowing upper room disinfection to operate continuously.

Yes. AeroClenz offers custom UV-C solutions to fit the unique layout and needs of each commercial property. Our team can adjust unit size, placement, and specifications to match floor plans, airflow patterns, and usage patterns. This ensures maximum disinfection coverage while integrating seamlessly into the building’s design and workflow.

AeroClenz stands out from traditional methods by:

– Offering dual-approach UV-C technology for continuous air and surface disinfection
– Operating automatically to maintain consistent coverage without manual effort
– Reducing missed areas that can occur with human cleaning
– Using smart sensors to ensure UV-C levels remain safe and effective during business hours
– Supporting a cleaner, healthier environment without disrupting operations

The AdaptUV™ System neutralizes a wide range of airborne and surface-borne pathogens, including viruses such as influenza and coronavirus, bacteria like MRSA and Streptococcus, fungi, and mold spores. It also addresses other airborne bioaerosols commonly found in high-traffic environments. This broad-spectrum protection helps reduce illness-related absences and supports a healthier workplace.

AeroClenz is a corporate sponsor of AMSUS and the IAQA, keeping us informed on evolving safety guidelines and industry innovations. The AdaptUV™ System supports best practices for disinfection and aligns with standards like ASHRAE 241 for indoor air quality and infection control in commercial environments.

Maintenance involves UV-C bulb replacement every 2-3 years, at most. The AdaptUV™ System is engineered for low-maintenance, high-reliability operation. AeroClenz also offers system health monitoring for added peace of mind.
