UV-C light is a portion of the ultraviolet light spectrum naturally produced by the Sun which is powerful enough to kill pathogens, but harmless to humans when properly utilized. Although almost all UV-C from the Sun is blocked by the Earth’s atmosphere, so too is it blocked by our dead skin layer and eye’s tear film layer. We harness UV-C’s germ-killing power in our advanced disinfection systems.

UV-C light breaks down the DNA or RNA of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, stopping them from spreading and making you sick. When germs are exposed to UV-C light, it damages their genetic material. This means they can’t reproduce, cause infections, and spread to others.

AeroClenz uses advanced UV-C Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology to keep indoor spaces cleaner and safer. Matt has been passionate about aviation from a young age, earning his private pilot’s license in high school. After obtaining a degree in Aviation and Aerospace Science, he began his career as a flight instructor and then became an air ambulance pilot, where he recognized the importance of cabin cleanliness.

Rising through the ranks at one of the largest worldwide charter airlines, Matt became Captain and later Chief Pilot, gaining deep insights into maintaining safe environments in aviation. This experience led him to found Aeroclenz, Inc., where he now serves as CEO.

Under his leadership, Aeroclenz has transitioned from an aerospace-focused company to a leader in UV disinfection solutions, offering custom products for both aerospace and terrestrial indoor applications. While the company’s roots are in aviation, its technologies now ensure high standards of cleanliness across various industries.
